Together with the researcher and media artist Ivan Demidkin, we were commissioned by the Goethe-Institut to curate the theatre party "TETRIS" and present new German-speaking plays in St. Petersburg. We invited performers, theatre, and video art directors, painters, game designers, media artists, and composers from Krasnodar, Novosibirsk. Perm, Pskov, and St. Petersburg find their approaches to the exchange of new texts.
The scenic readings, video art, and discussions make it possible to experience pulsating chaos of processes. The topics range from feminism to ecology, from the arms trade to the problem of violence, from Lenin and Trotsky to a lonely turtle, from drama for two actors to multi-episode plays, and from trying to find oneself to watching Tetris figures.
This event was in a frame of the Deutsche Woche in St. Petersburg at the film studio “Lendoc” on April 23, 2021.
